We are excited to announce the return of our Different Games Track Chairs Program for the 2018 conference. The Different Games Track Chairs Program provides an opportunity for members of the broader public to participate in organizing the conference by proposing special conference tracks to be included in this year’s proceedings. Tracks can include a series of paper presentations, talks, panels, workshops, or games (for the Different Games Arcade) that explore a particular topic or theme in areas of interest to the DG community. Proposals for tracks should align with the Different Games mission of inclusivity and diversity in games and gaming cultures as outlined in the Different Games Inclusivity Statement. Track chairs will help us by reviewing the submissions and organizing the sessions in their respective tracks. Submissions are invited before May 06, 2018 at 11:59 Eastern. For everyone interested in participating in this years Different Games Conference 2018, mark your calendars! The general submissions call will be released on the Different Games website (differentgames.org) on May 11th. We invite critical voices from across the games community— including designers, activists, researchers, educators, journalists and others— are invited to present new and recent work as part of our three day program.
